Every day I grow old & am {born} again bathed in light that starts to darken when I {emerge}...*~
Went down to D.C. today with Allie. It was a good day, besides getting a little lost on the way down. We went to a couple of Smithsonian art museums, the African and the Asian/Indian/Middle Eastern one. There was so much ~{Buddha}~ in a great way. Plus, there was a French man and women wandering about the exhibits too, and everytime I saw them, I would try and be as still as possible, with only a smile so that I could listen in on them. It was so fantastique, because they just looked so suave and "French" (ugh, what other word can I find?!) Brilliance. We ate at the mall, and wandered about. Hit the metro, got a little lost again, then found our way to the Smithsonians. I got a new CD, and at the museums I bought a small candle Buddha and a Feng Shui (ohmigoodness... spelling??) cat, a green one, placed facing South for luck in academics (Hell, it may be summer, but I could still use the stored up luck for next year...) Now, I am back home. It was a great day.
So, tomorrow, I'm taking the SATs. Hopefully, they will be all right. I need to bring up my score about 150 points to be satisfied with myself, and I suppose that is entirely possible. *rubs her new green cat &prays*
