Gogol Bordello - Madagascar-Roumania (Tu jesty fata) (2005) This downtempo song is from their East Infection EP. I am not sure how they accomplish being wistful-feeling while keeping some of their signature rowdiness but I like it.
Considering the difficulty the Current seems to have playing some of their really exuberant tracks (really, I've only heard GB a few times over the years, and the single from their new release only during the week before it came out), I am really surprised that they don't play this one more. It's a good radio track, and a gentler introduction to the gypsy punks. What up, the Current?
