Survey: 1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
I went to university and I moved away from home.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I made one and I certainly did not keep it. I'm jumping on the usual bandwagon this year and trying to smoke less.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin did (again) and so did Mary which is weird because she's a lesbian.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope thankfully!

5. What countries did you visit?
I haven't left the country, I haven't even been to Scotland or anything this year. I was promised holidays to Amsterdam and Australia but Sam ran out of money so they've been postponed, booo.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Money and a place to live that isn't leaving me in serious debt every day! And maybe a tortoise.

7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
10th May because Sam put up with me for a whole year. Whatever week in September it was that me, Sam, Tif and Drain went to stay in a caravan in the rain on the East coast. 27th August, Leeds Festival with Mark! 2nd October - Ram at Matter in London, the best night out everyone had ever had and all my favourites in one place. 28th November, my brother got married (then arrested in Cuba the next day).

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a promotion at work, then quitting my job and getting into uni instead. Haha.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Messing up with my rent and ruining things for my dad :(

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just general poorly sickness.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I can't think of anything. Festival tickets?

14. Where did most of your money go?
On my stupid bastard greedy money-eating vehicle machine.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Global Gathering, what a let down. Leeds Festival, not a let down. Moving to Leeds, undecided.

16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
Nneka - Heartbeat, Dirtyphonics - The Secret, In For The Kill - La Roux/Skream <3

Happier or sadder - Sadder
Older or wiser - Both
Thinner or fatter? - Thinner
Richer or poorer? - Much, much poorer!

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Saved money and not crashed my car into things.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Been a jealous freak when Sam was away.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
The same as last year, drunk by 9am, sober again by 9pm so I can drive into town and get drunk again with my friends in Nick's garage haha.

I continued to fall in love with Sam and I also fell in love with the Cribs and this man called Owen with a nice fringe.

Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov.

Chase & Status, although that was last year really?

28. What did you want and get?
To get into uni and for Sam not to run away with a skanky uni slut.

29. What did you want and not get?
A job that I like in Leeds. Cool flatmates.

I haven't seen much that is new but my favourite film I saw this year was the Beach.

Not having to work in an office for the majority of it.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
Before I came to Leeds I wore my old clothes but when I got here I found an Urban Outfitters and an Ark and now I can't pay the rent. I bought my first pair of skinny jeans too despite bitching about them for years.

34. What kept you sane?
Sam... & when Sam was the cause of my insanity, internet therapy. Good times.
