just got back yesterday from camping down at john pennekamp down in key largo. it was awesome!! i did howevere manage to get attacked my every biting insect you can think of ( mosquitos, no-see-ums, jiggers, sand fleas, sand flies, horse flies, black flies ) ahh but the biting was controlled by OFF! spray so it wasnt toooo bad. we went diving down by white banks reef, which was absolutely beautiful. just the water, the weather, the company...i couldnt have asked for a more perfect day.
drove further south to mile marker 73 and went fishing. i didnt catch anything besides the floor a couple times and some seaweed.
stopped at the islander so my parents could get semi-drunk on the way home and i went swimming. it still didnt take away the smell of bait from my hands. so i drove back to lauderdale smelling like fish and squid.
came home and pretty much relaxed.
today, at noon, we are leaving for tampa. we'll only be gone for one day because of the party on saturday. we're just going up so my dad can pick up something in clearwater beach and i can get more clothes. i miss being in tampa, especially when this place gets boring.
