im gonna make this super fast since the battery in my laptop is about to die and i have a huge makeup exam in 2 hours and i still need to study.
lets start with last monday: went to the hospital for serious, i mean INTENSE stomach pains. and i was puking everywhere. spent 7 hours in the waiting room before being sent to some tiny bed in the children's ward. was given and IV ( thats a whole nother post on its own). they thought something was wrong with my appendix, turns out its my gallbladder. the whole ordeal cost me a night in the hospital and in the end i got morphine, a thing of vicodin, and a couple days absent from class. sweet! i did, however, miss an exam. the very exam im taking soon.
drove home to see brand new perfrom and my boy, jesse. holy hell! amazing show. manchester orcestra will be your new favorite band. i promise. and you guys already know how amazing jesse is. veronica also got raped by a kid from michigan and had her knee knocked out of place. personally, i thought the whole thing was hilarious.
drove back to tampa sunday. spent the rest of the day sleeping and shopping in hyde park.
private show on monday. jesse did interviews with the radio station and played a couple songs. he also made friends with a 1st grader named jamie. jesse introduced her to his brother, jamey. ironic? maybe.
at the actual show downtown, he got her (jamie) backstage for the show and gave her a couple of their shirts. she sat on his lap at the merch table and i cant even tell you how big of a smile she had. adorable. she had this extra long shirt on from the radio station and plugs the roadies gave her if the music was too loud. absolutely adorable. the mom, though, well i wont start.
the show itself was awesome. i didnt stay long because it was getting pretty cold. i stood with jamey and some random dude a majority of the time watching kevin d. play and went inside before brand new got on.
afterwards we all went for sushi. still dont like it, but whatever.
then to the alehouse to watch the hockey game.
