Rocko and I need our own house. We're pretty much grown-ups. And there's this starter home down the block that's perfect for us.

Okay, so it's nothing special. It's two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with an extra bedroom in the guest house out back. So we could start out by renting out the guest house to help with the mortgage. Later, we could have a dedicated play space! It's within walking distance of good restaurants, my favorite bar and coffee shop, a park, boutiques, and a best friend.
It's listed at $194k, which is on the low side of what we can afford.
The only problem is that this would commit us to Phoenix. Which means attending a barely-accredited law school.
Am I accepting reality or just settling?
