Sunday Morning - Now this is a weekend!!
Hollywood Casino was a blast! Great, good company in the persons of Lann, Juliet, Brad, and Laura.
Half off happy hour, so we imbibed several drinks. My favorite out of the bunch was the Tombstone.
Jack,triple sec, sweet and sour, and a splash of lemon-lime soda. This could be the new drink of summer, it was delicious. While "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" sounded good, I was underwhelmed by it, but hey! alcohol is alcohol, yes?
Went to Lann & Juliet's house to play his new birthday present game "What the F*ck". It was perfect for a bunch like us, but few surprise answers...Checked out their new bathroom...It's beautiful! It has the look and feel of a swank boutique hotel.
Well, after some 4-5 stiff drinks last night, I feel pretty decent. This has been a "drinking" weekend, no doubt. I think I'm on a roll too, I've posted more this weekend than I have in the past month or so. Today's plans include going to the dump, and I think more time in the yard is warranted. The inside of the house needs it more, but it is stellar outside, and not to be passed by. Saturday, after slacking in the morning, I got out and mowed, edged, etc. I spent like 4-5 hours outside, and it looks fantastic. We're gearing up for the yard sale, and a few parties this summer. I'll need to get back to painting the interior soon as well, now that I have all this extra daylight. Hope everyone is having a satisfying weekend, how could we not? Life is good, and it's good to be alive!
