One of those "It's been a while since I've updated" updates
School: Monday morning was the first day of Finals for Spring quarter. I started one of mine at 7:30 and was done with the other by 10:30 @_@. Liz just finished her last final today. Go summer vacation!
Work: Spent the past couple weeks getting harassed by my advisor to use a program that he never installed all the way and that I didn't have access to finish installing, and yesterday we decided to switch to a new program instead. Sponsor meeting tomorrow.
Life: Went to a wedding for some of Liz's friends weekend before last, going to Kate and Dusty's in July. I've got Qualifier Exams coming up in September, so guess what I'm spending my summer doing. Oh, and yesterday we got a letter in the mail from Jaydeb in Japan!
Starting next week, I think more roads in Columbus are going to be closed than aren't (at least the ones we use) so they can take advantage of classes being out to do maintenance on the campus area in general. I suppose that's not very me-centric, but I was amused/annoyed when I saw the list of road closings that had more entries than I have fingers.
Oh, and I don't think I've ever said anything, but I'm giving a talk at a conference this summer! I'd invite you guys, but the pass to get in was $350 (and you thought Otakon was expensive!). Fortunately the project budget pays for it, not me--at least not once they finally get around to reimbursing me. It's only 15 minutes and I doubt anyone important is going to be there, but at least it'll be something I can put on my resume.
