BRRR!!!
Last night I went out and wasn't wearing enough layers (I thought just a heavy coat would be enough, but I needed a sweater too), and it was freezing! And that's when I discovered something: I was actually shivering, and my teeth were actually chattering.
They sound like little things, but that's never really happened to me before. The last two or three winters have been pretty mild for me, and back when I still weighed another 90 lbs I still had enough fat on me that I was still warm. To me, shivering was just something that happened in cartoons so you knew when someone was cold; I never realized it actually happened!
So yeah. Another "back when I was still fat" story.
