Been awhile so i thought i`d let all you bright and shiny faces know what i`ve been up to as of lately.
March 5th went to The Red Parot to see another round of the battle of the bands there and saw a band called Dirty Habit. They`re Myspace is here :
http://www.myspace.com/thedirtyhabit . Was very impressed with their playing, had some great energy. The singer was deffinently channeling Kurt on stage. After show caught up with the singer at least, the drummer kind of stayed away and kept to himself, and congratulated on the show and asked if they had a demo out. They did but he didn`t have any at that show. Soon after they left which I found weird at a contest.
This weekend went to Coventry St. in Cleveland and spent more money I didn`t really have ended up getting an Eraserhead poster from Big Fun and a package of Pop Rocks because they rule. Walked into Record Revolution and found a bootleg Punk Documentary and Manson movie (both of which were really good and had lotsa of nice little bonus footage) and found a copy of Velvet Underground`s Another View on vinyl which i cradled immediately being Velvet and all. Ate at the Mongolian Grill, meal costed about 20$ all together and was good food, you get to pick anything you want from a meat seafood and veggie buffet then they grill it all in the sauce of your choice. Afterwards we hit a kind of regressed under funded Record Exchange still did price tags and inventory and such all with pen and paper, they looked almost void of a computer. Actually found the Nirvana bootleg Pay To Play. Eric then managed to get us unbelievably lost we ended up out in Lyndburg Ohio from Cleveland which is like a county over or so. About an hour or so we finally get back.
