Easy Breezy

It's really weird to be graduated from college and going to grad school but almost feeling like you're not really in school? Let me explain. I'm in a master's program that only meets one weekend a month, I haven't been reading (I REALLY SHOULD get started but it's almost unnecessary) and I have noticed I've been progressively getting lazier and lazier as the days go by. For example, today I sat around for about maybe 6 hours watching a marathon of Top Chef. Practically all I've been doing Monday through Friday lately is sleeping in late, watching countless hours of shows, cooking, maybe some internet, Angry birds, and cleaning. I want to motivate myself but I can't really seem to. I keep living for the weekends, which are seeing my family and/or spending time with Dane. Right after the 10k that Diana and I ran in Vero, on the 15th, I noticed is when my motivation dropped a ton. That race, by the way, was so adrenaline pumping and we did awesome for our first race. Diana came in 34th (1:02:53.4 - 10:06 pace) and I was 52nd (1:08:53.1 - 11:04 pace) out of 82. That very same day coincidentally concurred with me hurting a tendon in my foot (due to running the wrong way my entire life - so weird! how does this happen right?!??) and my brother spraining his ankle while playing basketball. I told myself I would take a 2 week break from strenuous foot activity and my brother has to take a month off, which suck so bad because he's my exercise partner. And it's super scary going to the park without him (some creepy incidents have happened to girls running alone there). Actually, I'm almost positive if I started working out again I'd be tons more motivated. Okay so that mystery is solved.

Onto halloween weekend festivities!

I went to Jacksonville this weekend and it was so sick.
This little trip really exceeded my expectations and Dane's too.
Tony was our host and took us into his spacious apartment.

He brought us to a bunch of really delicious food places,
I got drunker than I wanted for the Fl/Ga game,

we hung out with Jade & Arend a whole lot,
we got to see where Tony's super serious bar association job is...

... and his view,

and met Tony's good friends Zac and Maria.
We also went to a really neat toy store,

watched some Parks and Rec,
went to this awesome super-market-type-store that only sells alcoholic beverages,

AND! went to a flea market that was chocked full of some rare finds
i.e. Michael Jordan plastic doll from Space Jam.

Note to self: If I were a prop designer or costume designer,
I would definitely hit up flea markets for supplies.

I'll load this post with pictures tomorrow! Stay tuned! Oh yeah, and since I deleted my fb this lj, flickr, and tumblr will be the go to destinations for my shots. I might bring it fb back...it'll just be most likely a bit from now.
