(no subject)
Metallica rocked! They look younger than they did 10 years ago, I guess the healthy living pays off and they played for 2 hours. We had great seats, really close and the Belly Bean went mad, I like to think there was a little fist in the air and some headbanging going on in there but maybe it was a protest at the noise :o)
Didn't get pizza in the end, both Pizza Expresses in Nottingham were full but when I walked by a good Thai place in Hockley it spoke to me so I went there and R made it in time to join me so all was good. Duck red curry and noodles hit the spot
I met up with a friend who was at the gig after for a chat and we went to the rock pub rather than queue to get out the car park for an hour - I was out until past midnight on a school night, more rock and roll than I thought I'd be. I got bed at 1.30 am and got up and 7.30 and feel fine, just as well really as in a few months that should feel like a long sleep :o)
