Happy 2009
Happy New Year!
May 2009 be a year of splendidness for one and all
We had a nice quiet new year's eve in the end, we were supposed to go into the city but one friend was ill and I felt really tired so we asked people round to ours and cooked a meal. One of R's mates hadn't drunk for the whole of 2008 and started again at 9pm and he provided the entertainment for the evening as he got less coherent and more and more amusing.
We sat up until 3 and I had a teeny glass of champagne but it made me feel sick so I went back to water - what a lightweight. I wouldn't mind too much but I still feel sick and tired like I have a hangover today :o)
We need to go for a walk now to work off all the food before it gets dark, far too many calories were consumed...
