Ok I'm a dork and even though I've seen like 10 movies this year or something, I still love the Oscars. It's just wonderful, narcissistic fun. Soooo...because I have some lovely Oscar memories and am doing jackshit tonight, I'm gonna type a running commentary of the Oscars, so let's get it started!

I just watched a scrambled version of the Oscars... scrambled like a porn channel, you know, because I don't pay for that particular channel. I was kinda asking myself the same questions... what the hell was P-FuckOffMoron doing there? Or PRINCE?! Hmm. Presenters or not, I ask... how are these idiots relevant?

Uh... yeah, I agree with your assessments on Cate Blanchett. Her husband seems like he might be a prissy/haughty sob since he thinks her thanking him is "cheesy"?! Maybe it is, but that is what people do. Haha. I found that Swank's speech was, as you say, long (and dull). She did not seem particularly... happy or exuberant, but I guess when you win twice (but only after getting FIRED from Beverly Hills 90210) it is old hat for you. Overall Annette Bening seemed distant, cold, weird, upset, angry, tired... well before losing. Maybe because she knew she would lose... but I am asking myself who shoved a stick up her ass?! Oh well, hate her anyway so I am happy she never wins anything.

Anyway I am just happy to see you posting something. You always write the most hilarious entries.

Prince was great...learn to read bitch! I love the thought of you watching a scrambled version of the Oscars like some creepy old man. We film buffs are creepy, we must stay true to form!
