I got David Sedaris to come into the bookstore and sign some stuff for customers/friends. He declined all pictures, as he has recently "turned 51." I do have a picture of his nut roll, though.

I have tried elk before but not intentionally. My uncle used to go to Montana or somewhere around there and hunt elk and bring back tons of ground elk and sausage and in which case my mother being the crafty lady that she is slipped some elk in some sloppy joes and I ate it. I thought it tasted pretty gamey but didn't say anything. The next day she made elk tacos and I finally caught on. Interesting but not my meat of choice.

Also, I am glad to see that framed picture that I gave you has been put to good use.
