system failures are cool
I'm now at work, and the system has crashed massively. I've been sitting around doing fuck all and playing web games and remembered about this LJ. I kind of thought that my account would have been deleted due to not using it in forever and a day. Wow. Life happens. I went to Berlin over Easter, and saw Slim Cessna's Auto Club on Easter Sunday. It absolutely rocked my world. It was as close to religious ecstasy as I could ever have gotten in my lifetime. I discovered that band about 4 years ago, and I've been just waiting for the day they came to Europe, and I managed to see them. It truly went into my top 5 concerts I've ever been to. They were amazing. In immigration issues, I've succeeded in gaining permanent residency here in Poland, and now I can actually apply for citizenship, which I'm going to be doing sometime this month, hopefully before May. The only downside to all of this, is that it's still not making our move to England that possible due to this fucking credit crisis. I'm still applying for jobs, but it's a bit difficult applying for jobs while I live here. It's one of those nice things. I can't get a job until I live there, but I won't live there until I have a job. My son is getting bigger every day. He's almost running now, and I imagine it will be any day now before I'm chasing his sorry ass all over Warsaw. He's a really vocal little bastard as well. Constantly talking. He's even showing signs of being bi-lingual, which is kind of cool. He now knows the word Lion in both languages and other things as well. Mieszko also really loves music. He starts hopping whenever I play The Ramones!!! And he always tries to sing whenever I play Gloria by Van Morrison. He also is pretty happy when I play The Gories, but The Ramones truly seem to be his favorite!!! I'm so proud. Oh well. I just love it when there are system problems and I don't have to do any work...
