A rovin' a rovin' a rovin' I'll go

It seems that Ireland is becoming a more real possibility every day. I've been looking at the employment section on the Irish Independent, and there's a ton of jobs there and they pay pretty well too. I think next Thursday I'm going to meander down to the Irish Embassy and figure out how to proceed to apply for an EU/EEA permit. Apparently that's what I have to do to move. I recently read that because I'm married to an EU citizen, I have virtually the same rights myself as an EU citizen! Not too bad, except it still sounds too good to be true, but I guess I'll find out one way or the other fairly soon. Now I have to re-do a CV and I'll almost be in business. The only bitch part of any of this, will be moving. I want to find out if we can bring the dog. This is actually a defining factor of whether or not we move. I'm not leaving the dog behind. However I found out that if I get him a rabies vaccination 30 days beforehand, I can bring him into the U.S., so hopefully Ireland won't be too much more difficult. Also my Muppets order has been confirmed. It should be delivered within 15 days or so. I still expect problems, as the postal system here is atrocious to say the least, but it's ordered. One of Weronika's friends also gave us a couple seasons of Little Britain, which is one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long long time. I know khrysha doesn't like it, but I think it give Python a run for it's money. there are some of the best skits on that show. Hopefully we'll have the weekend to ourselves this weekend. I don't want to be busy at all. I just want to have a nice time. Maybe go for a long long bike ride and see what's up in the villages around Warsaw. That sounds kind of nice. I'm actually kind of excited about the thought of moving to Ireland. I must admit it will be nice to live in a country where I understand the language, and well frankly, isn't Poland. To have good roads, and such. I wonder what the public transportation system is like there? I know I probably would be way too chickenshit to drive over there. The whole left-side of the road thing is really intimidating for me. I need to find some good websites or meet someone who lives in Dublin so I can find out decent neighborhoods and such. The other problem would be the physical moving part. We couldn't just rent a truck and drive it there unfortunately. So I'm assuming we'll have to either ship a lot of things, or re-buy everything, which I really would rather avoid doing.

Work is going ok. It's not the greatest job in the world, but it's a job, and I don't hate it. I've finished my second "real" week and I've been doing alright I guess. I was just told I say "OK" and "hmm mmm" too much. The irony on that one is kind of thick. Being corrected by someone who uses "uh" after every word telling me I say OK too much. But I just smile and agree. I would rather be doing most anything else than working I think. And the weather has been just too nice to be inside. I'm really not bitching about my work, as much as work in general. Today my goal is to update and re-do my CV and start sending it to places in Ireland just for fun. What's the worst that can happen. They don't respond. I've seen Data Entry jobs there paying almost 30,000EUR a year there. So that might not be too bad. I can type quite well. I'm now officially rambling, so I should go try to be productive.
