Concert tonight and there was no traffic and not too many people on the bus this morning and I listened to Sonic Youth's "Daydream Nation" at an ear-splitting volume. The start to what I hope will be a pretty good day. I applied for 2 days of PAID HOLIDAY at the end of September. First time ever getting paid for days off. I hope I get it. A good weekend of eating. Friday, I made herb-crusted salmon filets with pistou and warmed tomatoes. Saturday omelettes with chantrelle mushrooms and fresh herbs, and Sunday we made Mexican stuffed peppers. Last night we ate canteloupe with Serrano ham and it was delicious. Bought and watched Straz Nocna (Nightwatch) and thought it was f-ing cool. Really good I thought. We also bought a couple of other movies but I can't remember the titles off the top of my head. Training is starting to wind down here. Not difficult, but a lot to remember. I may get drunk tonight... I haven't punished my liver in a while. It's time to show my dominion once again I think.
