(no subject)
this snow stuff is horrible.!!! i would like it if i didn't have to go outside....if i could just sit inside all day and watch movies.
this morning in my asian art class, we were talking about the indus valley culture and the female figurines found there. ok, this is a topic that has been discussed extensively. i have no idea how many times i have studied it in past classes.....well,
the class is pretty mixed with all age levels and knowledge.
a debate started in class about these figures. of course i was the main person arguing. i wasn't meant to be like that. i said my view on them.....and then this bitch started arguing with me about how she believes that they are deities and were highly regarded....she compared them to people carrying around a picture of jesus in their wallet. i enjoy a good debate......but this was just retarded. she had no idea what the hell she was talking about. one of her friends chimed in and started agreeing with her. of course penny enjoyed this. i know that she take the same view on them as i do. this went on for about 15 mins. just arguing back and forth in classroom of 50 students.
so yesterday i got so bored that i went to my mom's. she gave me a tofu cookbook. this is exciting cause she usually gives me something that i will never use....such as a crockpot. i went through my closet there that i store stuff in. i found a lot junk and a few interesting things. a bunch of old diaries from when i was a kid....so horrible. a couple of them i couldn't even get open cause they need a key or have one of those combination locks on them. also found some tapes of me when i use to think i was in a band. i will have to let jamie and kevin here them......since i have heard theirs.
went to blockbuster last night.....*saved* was on sale there....so i bought it. can't wait to watch it again. i rent *goldfish memory*. ok, this was a simple movie, but i really enjoyed it. it's one of the wolfe films. i want to rent *mango kiss* next.
speaking of mangos.....when i was a t mom's yesterday, she had this frozen fruit mix.....she makes smoothies and shit with it.....but i was just letting it thaw a little then eating it. the mangos were soooo freakin good!!!!! i coudleat those all day.
i get these horrible impuses all the time to buy things. last night i bought the first season of the *L Word*. i got a pretty good deal on it....but jesus christ!!! i shouldn't be spending money on anything when i don't have a damn job.
woke up this morning to get a shower....someone was in there! it was meghan! wTF!!! i thought she moved out!!!! this is bullshit. she needs to get her shit out of here ASAP.
today, i'm meeting with irene to discuss my indie study. i hope that she doesn't expect me to have anything done. i have researched like a few pages of my topic.....irish illuminated maunscripts.....
i'll really feel like an ass if this is the case.
