(no subject)
So it occured to me that I haven't updated this since November, and that maybe some of you have been wondering where I was, and maybe some of you really haven't even noticed my absence, but in any case, I'm going to write a few things and maybe you will say a few things back in a comment and everyone in this situation wins.
I have to go to court tomorrow to see what happens to me because I tapped a guy when he started pulling out of a stop sign and then stopped suddenly, and I dented his salt machine. He was a jerk about it and didn't even like ask my name or if we were okay in the car or anything, he just said, "Ya' dented muh damn salt masheen purty bad..." and then called the police.
Today I got to see my friend and former bandmate get buried. It's so hard to fathom that I'm never going to see him again. I'm not going to run into him at the mall or by chance bump into him at a show. He decided to take his own life and leave us all behind. The next few days are going to be rough.
By a few strange events, BOTH of my bands ended up playing last night at the show for which only ONE of my bands were originally scheduled to play. I feel terribly for the bands who had to drop off, but I suppose it was a good night for me. At least I had fun.
On the band note, we are (JULIET THE HUNTER) playing again next week at the Happy Badger. Saturday at 7 pm. It would be great to see you all out there. We are going to have more new songs and maybe some surprises? Or maybe we'll just play our songs and hope you enjoy them and not worry about anything.
