Gamer Journal Volume :P

I'm officially at wits end with MegaTen: Devil Survivor Overclocked.
Got to that point of the game when I either run out of MP or HP trying to outlast the numerous tedium of boss fights one after another. Just major fucking brain ouch. Going to have my second husband Giese assist me with this predicament since he's unlocked all six endings all by himself. Heh- it's been years since I actually had to hand a controller to a friend and ask them to "play for me" just to get past a challenging part of a video game. *sighs* I'm just going to be so relieved when I've beaten one out of the six bloody endings. And then it shall be one big break from the 3DS until I've cleaned up some other games in my roster.

Speaking of which! sssagena gave me the boot from the apartment for a couple hours to partake in wedding related things. So I wound up booting up MegaTen: Persona 3 Portable out of shear spite for the frustration brought on by Overclocked (mentioned above). SUCH ... A ... BREATH ... OF ... FRESH ... air. I'm so glad I decided to start my campaign earlier than scheduled. Even though the route of the female protagonist was recommended for experienced / veteran P3 gamers - I decided to follow my interests and go with the female protagonist regardless. (Plus I've played through Persona 4, so I'm not really that worried) This game so far is exactly what I expected it to be. Fun and intriguing from the start. Full of mystery and unusual characters. But yeah- definitely going to be spending more time with this game until Giese can help me progress more in Overclocked. I definitely needed the break.

It's been a while since I've written about anything in general. Which is funny because usually in my head I can formulate 1-2 LJ entries that I'd like to write about during my job when my brain cells are most active and come up with great ideas and thoughts. (I've always been someone who comes up with more complete ideas when pacing around or actively working on a non-cerebral activity) And no I don't have a smart phone, otherwise I'd be posting during my lunch breaks to get all thoughts out of my head. Seems like I haven't been able to post on here as much because of both my jobs consuming all of my time and energy. Next post I'm going to try and share some music that has been getting me though my rougher days- whilst at the same time sparking cognition and imaginary machinations through my head. Can't really determine when that's going to happen since I have another busy weekend coming up. But I'm not going to let another month pass without writing something meaningful.
