Hey All,
Feel free to disagree with me here, but I have to say something about the Presidential debates tonight.
We are the UNITED States of America, "united" being the key word here. I have NEVER been Republican or Democrat one way or the other. Neither has ever produced results that the entire public agrees on. This falls under the "you can please some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time" category. After tonight, I have to admit, if they changed the ballot to "either McCain or Obama, OR BOTH", I'd be first in line to vote for a house with BOTH. Why? You ask.
Here's my opinion. Our leadership should NEVER be between 2 divided parties. That kills the "united" aspect of what we stand for, and what so many have died to preserve. What would be my ideal "Dream Team" is McCain handling the military and international relations aspect, and Obama handling domestic and economical affairs.
Tonight was not a "mud-slinging" childish banter session, but instead, good common sense spoken in mature grown up, leadership fashion. I love BOTH of these guys. As one or the other, we'll still be lacking somewhere in the big picture. But it's been that way every since we decided that it's either Republican or Democrat for our leader.
BOTH candidates expressed something that is more dear to my heart than breathing oxygen. And that is to make sure that our sacrificed sons from all wars, do NOT die in vain. Those white crosses are dear to my existence. Without what our military men & women have done, God knows where we would be. It's of the utmost importance to me that we NEVER forget what they did for us.
People, it's WAY past time for us to get back to what we built this country on, UNITY. Right now, more than ever, our country, our home, our future, depends on SMART leadership. Not glorified yap. If I could personally push the American people to DEMAND a UNITED leadership party, I would. But as one man among the masses, I can only express my opinion. And now, I have.
GOD BLESS this great Nation, and may every voice be accounted for this election.
