Today has been interesting to say the least.

I sold two elevators today, which is nice, because I know I can do my job, and I get incentive rewards when I finish the jobs. I have a meeting tomorrow with a guy who basically said to give him a price and he will give us the job. Apparently not being a prick in a business (construction) run by pricks actually gives you a leg up.
I've only had one prick moment so far. I basically chewed out Cliff for giving me a hard time one day. Even though he is 50, taller and heavier than me, he's laid off a bit. The guy is like a doberman, tough on the outside, but nice on the inside.

Afterwords, I stopped at Gamestop and picked up Fable II. I never played Fable aside from once Freshman year of college (or at least I think it was Fable, it was one of the weekends that Joe's friend came in with his computer and they played WoW together.) But I really love RPG's, especially the goofy kind like Fable which manages to be awesome without taking itself too seriously. I opened it, but didn't play it because...

I have an appointment for a consultation for the gryphon tattoo. Geoff (the artist from Lark Tattoo) was supposed to have a drawing done so that we could hammer out a design. I don't think I'm going to go with him for it, but instead go back to Buffalo and have Chris do it, because I can trust Chris with it, and saying that you'll have the drawing done in two weeks and not having it done is pretty unprofessional. If I had told a customer that I would have a proposal for them and didn't have it done, I would not be taken seriously anymore.

So when I came back, I opened the door and Matilda ran out the door. So when I ran out to catch her and bring her back, I re-opened the door to put her back into the apartment door, and Ophelia ran out. Matilda is the smarter one, the one who learned already that the doorknob is how the door opens, and comes back to the door when she gets out. By the time I put Matilda back in the apartment, Ophelia is nowhere to be found. Literally five feet outside my door is forest, and I feared the worst. But Ophelia is silly, and was lying on the porch of my neighbor, then ran back into the building and up the stairs. So I got her toy (a featherduster type thing with streamers and an extra long stick) and got her to come back in. She obliged. Then she got ontop of the bookshelf, no idea how, that thing is nearly as tall as the ceiling.

So I finally got to playing Fable II, and found a bug in the game. At the end of the first mission, you cannot talk to Monty unless you have already talked to the scary guy implied to be a pimp. And if you don't talk to him when you first see him, you can't talk to him at all. It took me three playthroughs to learn that. I wasn't too pleased. But now I'm alright. I'm just afraid I'll run into more bugs later on. Also, why the fuck are there STD's in this game? It takes place in the weird period of time between the Middle Ages and Colonial times (maybe 14th century England). So, syphilis existed, but come on Peter Molenuex, don't be that guy. Also, although anyone can get an STD from unprotected sex in the game (again, I'm not a sex expert by any extent of the imagination, but I am fairly sure that condoms didn't exist in the 1300's. Still, I've only played about an hour and a half (and much of that was repeating the first few minutes).

(Sudden gear change):

The thing I regret most about being with Caitlin (aside from giving up going to Ireland the second semester of Junior Year) is this compulsion for lolcats that I somehow acquired. It truly makes me sad that I like them. But since my new entertainment has been the election, I found this site which makes me pretty happy: http://punditkitchen.com/

It's pretty amusing.
