moving sucks
Well my belongings no longer reside at 1109 White St. That may have been my favorite house yet. Cleaner than previous houses and a great living room for everyone to hang out at. The new apartment is another step up, although I am continuously losing companions to share it with. Ann Arbor is a great facilitator and has been home to innumerable great memories, but I question how happy I will be every time more people move away. Even scarier, the next installment will include me.
Yesterday was taxing in all respects. Emotionally I had to say goodbye to Beth and Mike. Granted Mike is coming back for a couple days this week, and between weddings and tournaments I'll see Beth 2 weekends in the next month. But as much as we were joking that "it'll never be the same" to try to make Beth start crying, its true that it wont. I may never live with Mike again, and i wont be able to hang out with Beth because the day of the week ended in D-A-Y. I'm starting to feel Billy's away message about living for the weekends.
Physically I had a 3-hour long practice 10-1 that ended just in time to START moving out, which took until about 11pm. Perhaps the reason I dont feel so bad writing up this journal at work. I think i've earned an easy day. Especially since nothing is actually put away at the new place, still lots more work before I can call it home.
But the place really is nice and I hope you can all come see it once the KP/D vision is complete. Our door is always open, hell theres a mid-grade vacuum to suck you in if thats what it takes. 2041 Jackson Ave Apt.206. Stop on by.
On a side note, there are some sweet highlight videos up at the magnUM website. I dont handle so you wont see much of me, but there are some sick plays for the entire weekend at Nationals...if you need something to do:

(I am #7 and am wearing a knee brace, thats how i pick myself out at least. Most visibly present on a long huck where i swear i would have caught it, but my teammate is officially "the fastest man in college ultimate" and beat me and my defender to the disc from the opposite side of the field. But you see me run almost the entire length of the field.)
