Funny story

I have a funny story to share. Boots didn't like receiving shots, and decided to teach me a lesson. He learned the pattern on receiving a shot:

1. Shot follows soon after a new can of food is opened
2. Insulin bottle visible (he stops eating and sees me rolling the bottle)
3. Syringe is now visible
4. I grabbed a fold of his skin, which he completely stops
5. There's a few second delay between I grabbed his skin and inject him, which he stops eating and stays still

During the few seconds I grabbed him, he decided to move at the last second before I inject him. The result: I pricked my finger with the needle! I almost injected myself with the insulin! I had to prepare a second dose, gave him his insulin, which he struggled thinking, "Wasn't I done already?". I ate some chocolate just in case my sugar level dropped.

Now I trained Boots that after he receive his shot, he gets a treat. Now he looks forward to his shots.
