Throughout my life, there has been one word i have always had trouble fully grasping. I kept seeing it again and again in books, and i had a general idea of what it meant,b ut it never really clicked. I even looked it up many times, but to no avail. This morning on the PSAT i saw it again. - contempt. of course i knew the definition- and i probably did well on the question- but i realized that i canot associate the definition with the word itself. C O N T E M P T spells out vagueness and uncertainty, with a memorized definition.
People in NY are elitists. Every last one of them. They will act as if they are superior- but thats really just on the outside. Once you get to know them they are just like people everywhere - pretty decent. But strangers aren't always as friendly as strangers in MI.
Football is going well 5-0. Big game tomorrow - League Championship. From there we'll see where the Eagles will go.
Cello is also progressing at satisfactory rate. I have a concert sunday october 30th where i'm playing a solo at a little music thing for kids in Dobbs Ferry. That should be fun.
Be thankful for IA- other IB programs just aren't quite up to speed. I have quite a few good teachers, but my english teacher isn't teaching IB english. In fact, she might not be teaching the class at all- we're not sure. I heard the IB2 english teacher is great though.
