Angels in the Sky with Wings
Yesterday I woke up at 7:15, got dressed went to Dunkin' Donuts with Don & Justin. The hopped on the bus to go to Brunswick, ME for the airshow. It was a very long ride, 3 hours there, but we passed by Portsmouth so I thought that was cool. Then when we got to the airshow a F-16 just took off...it was un-freakin'-believable...I think I pissed myself several times yesterday with all the airplane excitement. Then there was an old Stearman (biplane) that was doing INSANE aerobatics, and then right after this Pitts Special (mini biplane) was doing stunts I thought were impossible. It was crazy. Then if it couldn't get any better they had the "X Team" come out, and it was the Stearman and the Pitts Special flying around each other and doing students, and also missing each other by feet or inches. After they were flying around a JET TRUCK came out on to the runway and then the Pitts and Stearman were taunting him by buzzing him (flying really low over the top of him) and hitting him with their smoke. After several minutes of taunting the Stearman raced the Jet Truck and that was amazing. Also with all the smoke they made the Pitts and Stearman went into their cloud of smoke at EACH OTHER!! AND THEN CAME OUT CLEAN WITHOUT HITTING EACH OTHER!!!! I WAS LIKE WHHHHOOOAAAA!!!!!!! I mean they did things I was really cringing at. Then the last event of the day was the Blue Angels...Angels with wings I'd say. That was a spectacular show, and one time Blue Angel 5 flew right over us...and you just saw it you didn't hear it, and then a second later you heard ZZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!! I mean this was a sound that went right threw you body like a butchers knife going through butter. It was incredible. I still can't get over it. And then it was a 3 hour + ride home...so I was exhausted but it was worth it...Here are some pictures I took before my camera battery died 5 minutes into the airshow...stupid battery...
