Day 21… providing a solution
Day 21 of the 100 days of internet marketing. It’s really late so this is going to be down and dirty. There actually is a formula for providing the solution to you customers. It’s called “ask 5 questions”.
It goes like this:
1. what’s the problem?
2. why hasn’t this problem been solved before?
3. what solution is possible?
4. what is different now?
5. what should you do

Day 22 of the 100 days of internet marketing. Bullet points are the next adventure we will tackle. Bullet points cover all the key benefits in your product. To do this you will need to go through your product and pull out all the benefits, big and small, and list them.
Notice that I didn’t say the word “features”. Features are what you and the manufacturer thin are all the important reasons why your customer needs to purchase your product. It looks, tastes, feels or sounds good. (Buzzer) Thanks for playing. Not what your customer is interested in knowing. Benefits are what the customer gets after he/she buys or uses your product or service. It’s kind of like winning the lotto. Winning is really as important as what the money is going to do for the winner and his family...

Day 23 of the 100 days of internet marketing. These testimonials are about your product.
It’s time to establish credibility and proof that your product is going to deliver the type of results that your customer wants. The more details that you can provide about the person who is giving the testimonial, the better. Their full name (not initials) address, city and state is the method that is the most convincing. If you can include the person picture, great! If you can get the person to do an audio testimonial it’s even better and if you have a video testimonial it’s like money in the bank.
Remember Bob or Myrna who just came to your page…

Day 24 of the 100 days of internet marketing. Bonuses are a way to enhance your main product while strategically elevating the value of the purchase to provide much more value than the customer is purchasing.
This one the keys in my “Formula for Success” program that I teach on specifically the concept of providing more than you are being paid for. Higher quality service, better or additional products are truly the way to you customer’s heart. Everybody loves a great deal. Your job is to…

Day 25 of the 100 days of internet marketing. If you are going to sell something then you might want to put a price on it. Duh, of course you need that, but how do you set a fair price for your product? Well it’s funny that you should ask that, I have an answer, actually several answers.
By now in your sales letter you have established who you are what you are selling, what problem it’s solves and who else has tried it and what results they have received. Now you need to put a price on your product and…

You have to do your own growing no matter how tall your grandfather was.

Day 26 of the 100 days of internet marketing. The purpose of your product guarantee is to remove the people may see in purchasing your product. You want people to know that if your product doesn’t deliver what you say it will they can get their money back. It makes sense doesn’t it? If you bought a radio at a store and it didn’t work what would you do? Do get another one or get your money back, right? Of course so it’s not any different…
read more Day 27… call to action and the order recap
Day 27 of the 100 days of internet marketing. If you’re going to get someone to buy something you have to ask for the order. That’s the way it is in the real world and it’s the way it is in internet marketing, regardless of the type of business or service.
The long and short of this section is kind of like dating. It’s not really what you say, it’s how you say what you say. If all the steps have been followed you have created need supplied a solution to their problem, build credibility, have testimonials, a guarantee and some bonuses then when you ask them to buy they will be ready to do so. If all you do is put “click here” without all the other steps, you will get a variety of responses most of which I can’t print here. (laughs)
The second part of this section is the recap. How many of you (includes me) have ever skimmed a website or sales letter to get to the bottom to find out what the price is? I have all the time. Then when you get to price there is a short recap of all the stuff that was talked about above just for people like you and I. For me, time is at a premium and I want to know how much something costs and your customers do as well. So plan on them skipping over your carefully crafted 10 other steps and jumping down here. The recaps is going to tell them exactly what they are getting and how specifically to order, fill out the form, etc.
The better your instructions the more likely they will go back up to re-read some of the other stuff that you’ve spend hours and days creating for them. Additionally if you include a audio or video recap, the ‘powers” say that your closing rate can be 30 to 50% higher. Woo Hoo!
Remember people want easy but they don’t want to talked to like they are morons; the more specifically and procedurally that you draft your recap the better your chances of getting them to part with their hard earned dollars.
One last tip. Add a P.S. that repeats the information in the recap. What your product is about, what results they can expect and what they will receive if they order today. It kind of reminds me what I learned in basic sales presentations i.e. Tell them what you’re going to tell them, tell them and then tell them what you’ve told them. It sounds simple you wouldn’t believe how many people responds to this type of repetition; all of them
Tomorrow I’m going to post some links to sample sales letters, but you’ll have to go to the 100 days at a time website.
