Those who know me know that I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or many other common 'addictions'. But I'm here to reveal that I do in fact have a habit that I can't kick. Reading. I can't get enough of a good book. When I'm in the middle of a book I like, don't get in my way. I will read into the early hours of the morning, any spare 5 minutes I'm sitting still, during (some of) my classes, in between those classes, and when I should be studying or doing homework.
I can't help it! I blame my parents for bringing me up in a home that read a lot. If not for them I'd be like many others I know who haven't read a book since high school, if they can help it.
Though it occurs to me, out of all the people who read this, not many can say they aren't avid readers themselves. I'm talking to a group of people who understand my pain (and enjoyment) that comes with having such a healthy addiction. My fiancee, my mom, my siblings, my close friends. We all read more than the average reader, let alone the average person.
