i'm back!
wow its been awhile since i've been on this thing. well i think i'll update it more often cuz i like this better than myspace. i think myspace is only for like chain letters and looking at pics. so this is what i've been up to:
Maureen:
We are still doing real good! we have been going out for a year and ten months. We are still very in love and nothing much has changed. She gave me a utep jacket for xmas that i'm in love with. I gave her a new DVD/VCR player cuz she needed both. And for her bday i got her.... FALL OUT BOY TICKETS!!!!!!!!!! hahaha and we're on the field too! haha its gonna be awesome, i can't wait to see hawthorne heights again. plus i'm a fall out boy fan so it'll be great. i've already seen all american rejects twice so it wouldn't be a big deal.
Shows:
Well besides that one i really want to go see the Taste of Chaos Tour. That would be awesome, but i'm not sure yet. Other than that i don't know of any more i want to go to.
School:
well last semester i ended it with 3 B's and 1 A. the A was in Jazz to rock haha. this semester i'm taking geog 1303, hist 1302, Comm 1302, Univ 1301 and Phil. 1301. So far all of them are pretty cool even the Univ class (since i only have to go one day!) besides that since i'm not in the band anymore and that was my source of excercise, me and maureen have been going to the swimming and fitness center to work out. its pretty cool and we feel great afterwards.
Work:
work is the same, they cut my hours these last two weeks cuz of the seasonal employees. so like the last two weeks i've only worked the weekends. but next week its going back normal. so ya thats that
Misc.
it kinda sucks about all the bands breaking up and such. i saw a flyer the other day and i asked myself, wow never heard of any of these bands. i dunno i remember saying that during the summer i might start that promotion company but i'm not to sure anymore, i mean i would have to hear these new bands but from what i've seen it looks like the scene is going into a depression right now. last year i was looking for shows to go to for extra credit and there was nothing. nothing on lj or on myspace or on showlist. i was disappointed. but o well maybe it will pick up.
also, guitar center kicks ass!!! makes me want to be in a band again! haha. but ya those guys are awesome! you can try all the equipment and bring your own to try on amps or pedals and stuff. but its a badass store!
