i'm back!
well ya i'm finally back from nyc, heres the rest of the stuff we did...
thursday: Went to go see the Yankees!!! and omg did we have great seats. it was the second tier and they way that stadium is shaped its like you're eye level with the field, its was awesome! The Yankees lost but it was still a great game. the ride home from the bronx was crazy in the subway. the only thing i disliked about yankee stadium was that everything was so damn expensive. first off the beer is $7.50 for one bottle of bud light! then the hotdogs that they sell at the Diablos were $4.50 and a 20oz bottle of coke was $4.50! The nachos were $6.00! and so on. o well i guess thats how they can afford to have Jeter, Giambi, ARod, Sheffield, Johnson, all in the same line-up and not being the All Star Team.
friday: went to Coney Island and met one of my dad's cousins that he hasn't see for 20 years. she was pretty cool, when she speaks spanish she has a Jersey accent behind it, its pretty cool. It sounds italian. but we just hung out there all day. Then some of us went to ground zero to see that. and thats about it for that day.
saturday: me and my aunt woke up early to go to central park. that was one of the most beautiful parks i've ever been to. then we went to go eat at this place called Famous Lindy's. My aunt wanted to experience eating outside in new york. haha i open the menu and there is nothing less than $12! And they were just sandwiches. haha mine was called the Bob Hope. and ya $50 for just 2 people. i guess thats the way new york is... then we came back home.
It was a great experience, i wouldn't want to live there though. Everyone i talked to from there does not like it one bit but their work is there. What was even more shocking was people have heard about el paso and want to visit. i was laughing. my dad's uncle even told us, lets switch houses, you live in new york and i'll live in el paso. haha
