2 years!!!
well what can i say. tuesday was maureen and mine 2nd anniversery together! wow how crazy. i never thought i would be in a relationship this long! its been prolly the best years in my life having someone to keep you company. we go out on dates by ourselves , with friends and its all fun!
well it started off in the morning, she wanted to treat me out to breakfast so i let her take me to denny's :) it was very good! then we had to plan out the rest of the day. I went with her to return some stuff at target and then went home.
since we're both pretty busy, we gave each other 1 hour to buy gifts for one another. now we've been going out for 2 years and i've never given her flowers (i personally think flowers are a waste of money, they die in like a week?!). but i finally gave in because i saw how happy she got one day when i bought her a rose. i told myself, ok i've deprived her long enough.
she always told me she got her flowers from wal-mart because surprisenly those last the longest. i figured if i have to get her flowers might as well last as long as possible. so i went to the store i hate the most, faught the fronchies for parking. went in, got them and took off. i got her a dozen red roses, with a vase with a bear hugging it and a balloon.
from there i went to go pick her up for the movies. she loved the gift and i loved mine. she got me a Jabra (headset for my cell) and this sticky pad to put my phone on for the car. so that was awesome. we went to go see date movie, which in my opinion wasn't that great. i prolly wont buy it when it comes out to dvd.
after the movies we went to best buy to kill some time before dinner.
we go to cappettos for dinner. i've never been there and maureen likes it so i wanted to try it. my honest opinion... shouldn't be considered the "best" italian food in el paso. i ordered the chicken parmigean (sp?) and it was very good, but it tasted a lot like the italian kitchen. the only difference was i paid 13.95 at cappettos and 8.50 at the italian kitchen. so ya its very good, but get rid of the all you can eat salad and bread, which should lead to lower prices and it will be worth it. haha at the restaraunt we saw some of maureens friends from school, and i saw celest! she's a hostess there.
after that we went back to maureens house and the rest you could leave up to your imagination...
haha ya right, just kidding. we spent some time with her family and watched Jarhead, then i left cuz she was sleepy.
