I'm moving this friday. I'm packed for the most part and have the majority of things I needed.
The Flyers season ended early. I really hope the following happens: Please get rid of Randy Jones and Andrew Alberts, acquire a solid defensemen, look for goalie to replace Biron if possible and get rid of Danny Briere and Joffrey Lupul.
One of these weekends coming up I'm finally going to go buy a home beer making kit.
In addition, I should try and make limoncello as well. It doesn't seem very difficult.
I think the Eagles offseason thus far has been great (minus the loss of Dawk). But at the same time, this team annually gets my hopes up to ultimately let me down, so we'll see.
Still on the subject of the Eagles, Dear Sheldon Brown, SHUT UP. I'm tired of athletes signing huge contracts only to bitch about them several years later. You either (a) man up and honor what you signed (b) don't sign a long term deal and go for the shorter one (c) if you want to be paid for outplaying your contract, you should also be deducting for underplaying your contract.
Aside from most of the bullpen, the Phillies pitching staff needs to get its act together.
Ubuntu 9.04 came out last week. I don't think I know what a Jackalope is.
I saw president Obama's plans for a high speed rail system in the U.S. It basically connects major cities across the country. I think I'd rather have several high speed rail systems going from suburbs into major cities instead. You can already get from city to city fairly cheaply by plane. But as an example, it's ridiculous that residents of towns like Allentown or West Chester can't easily get a train into Philadelphia, thus creating tons of traffic.
