Busy day.
While the boys were at religious school Brian and I went to kohls and target to get the last Chanukah present. Galen got socks, Perry got angry birds boxers (his reaction, "mommy you're funny."). Galen was thrilled by the socks. I also got them the angry birds space card game. I feel like I've been super indulgent and gotten them too much this year but as the game has plastic pieces and requires aiming and building I'm calling it medical/educational.
Brian got a salted caramel mocha. Since, Virgil did okay but not great after the kefir yesterday I stole three sips. not a good idea!
After religious school, Chanukah party. After that head to the mall to return my birthday present and buy clothes for the boys with same. After that fun (2 bathroom breaks and some screaming involved) I realized I needed food since the only thing I could eat was salad at the party. No one else had much protein either since there was no hummus. Just tuna sandwiches premade and they apparently weren't very good. We got kabobs at the food court which were tasty and I just about inhaled.
While everyone else finished up I took Virgil to the play area. It was fun. It's where Galen got his first kiss. It looked like Virgil might, too. One 4 year old girl kept hugging him but he wasn't in the mood to be held back. He ended up playing chicken on the balance beam (see Facebook photo). He's very good at it. He just waits patiently while looking at anyone coming the other direction until they give in. He head butted one kids butt (ha ha) when they stopped in front of them and moved them along. After that he seemed to decide it was just as easy to climb off and go around. Maybe it was a smelly diaper.
We stopped at game stop, oh I'm funny tonight (or more likely sleep deprived and punchy), and Galen used his birthday gift card to buy more Skylander figures. Then back to Macy's to buy glasses. We didn't want to carry the. Through the mall.

Long day. Good day. Lots of laundry to do. Diapers, new clothes, etc... Now to get serious cleaning before the party, esp. since Brian will be in Denver.
