I took today off work - Mara had been bugging me to rest up anyway, and after the whole fiasco of the past few days I felt like I deserved some R+R. Nathan and I went for a drive, had a lakeside picnic lunch and walked around for a while. It was nice. I'm still a bit jittery, but Nathan's been amazing and I'm almost back to myself.
He's cooking me dinner right now. I can't believe how sweet he's being - he could go home now, really; my nightmares aren't as bad and it's not like I couldn't call him over if anything happened. But he wants to stay.
Man, I'm acting like a lovesick teenager. Hey, the way things are going I feel it's entirely justified! I'll keep you posted on how things develop.
Oh, and with regards to the X investigation - I have officially got rid of all my notes and everything related to it. I tried looking in to a few things but it just made me panic and so the best option was to stop altogether. It's not really important, anyway. I'm sure other people are looking into it.
