I opted to buy the hood to keep as a memento, bought some invitations, and rented the rest. Man, all that stuff is expensive. Just the hood by itself is more than twice what all of my Master's regalia cost. Glad I'm not going into academia and would likely need to buy the whole set! At least it was 20% off the hood this week.
