Mad to Live...
For the record, I *love* the WikiMedia Foundation and all it endeavors to accomplish. Here's their QOTD, which I found striking. The sentiment has been expressed many times, but I particularly like the way it's put here:

Funny, I tried reading Kerouac several years ago and found his writing style annoying...then I got bored and never looked back...but I respect the general feel of and perspectives behind his work. So here's my little salute to all things beatnik.
For any of you that are free to be outside doing as little "work" as possible today, I say GO! Now! Frolic and whatnot. It's GORGEOUS and I'm jealous of you.
