Long But Good Day...

Besides prepping my annoying IRS documents, I had a pretty good day.

I went to downtown SF in the afternoon to meet with a company that I’ll be doing some moonlighting for. The meeting went really well, the work is stuff I could do in my sleep, and I like knowing I’ll have some additional padding to my bank account each month. I think I’m going to ( Read more... )

Hey, let me know if you are down here again - I'm always on the hunt for a lunch buddy! I have a lame attempt at being trendy in mostly comfortable shoes :-P

For the most part I'll be doing this particular job from home, but there will be occasion for me to go into the office. I'll be sure to schedule those meetings close to lunch and to let you know when they are so we can get together. I love lunch dates too -- they're the best!

And I would argue that you're trendy-casual, which is probably the most level headed way to go about being trendy! Nothing lame about you, "Sweet Melissa".

She has a Blog at: http://www.canwealljustagree.blogspot.com/

As you'll see, she's bound and determined to maintain the "can we all just agree" theme, even though she recognizes that it can get old pretty quickly. She also doesn't post regularly and keeps the posts pretty obscure most of the time, i.e. very little insight into her as a person.

I recommend the post that deals with sheep. That's my favorite!

Anyway, we've had minor discussions about LJ. I'll ask if she's likely to join and let you know, since you asked...

Geez, you're quick to assume I'm talking about you! The benefit of a generalization is that it's intentionally non-specific...for instance, in the above post, *you* were quick to make a generalization yourself ( ... )

*chuckles*

yes indeed, you do. In point of fact "strange" doesn't even begin to cover it...

But that doesn't answer my question or explain anything. Are you conceeding and/or being intentionally obtuse? DO tell...

By the way, I think it's kind of cute how you're Oscar the Grouch and I'm Opus the Penguin and we're bantering. I actually think Oscar and Opus would get along in cartoon land. They're both pretty jaded and sarcastic! They'd probably sit around making fun of the happy cartoon characters and slapping Betty Boop on the ass!
