Random Update
I've been doing a lot of work on my voice as of late, and I'm pretty pleased with with the results. Things that used to be difficult for me now require very little effort. This makes me happy.
It's odd to listen to a tape and think, "Wow, that sounds fantastic." And then realize you're the one singing...
This is pretty much for Ace because I'm not sure this will really interest anyone else, but in my search for new material the other day, I obtained recordings of three new (to me) musicals: The Last Five Years, Urinetown (Yes, that is actually the name of the musical), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. I can't recommend them enough. Urinetown and Spelling Bee are hysterical. The Last Five Years is heartbreaking and made me cry. The music is fantabulous. I thought I would spread the word even though they've been around for a bit.
Other than that, I'm doing okay. Things are happening. I'm beginning to find my place.
