omg, you guys.
The Samurai 7 play.

...I don't know what all to say right now. Just wow.
I'll write a full review of the play itself when I get back to Aomori tomorrow evening, but now please have some non-spoilery notes about the show in general.

Samurai 7 - Report #1 )
Good good~ :D Even though the play differs slightly near the end, it's still good to be surprised! Once you do finish the series, please come back & read my summary to see Masa's spectacular-ness... ;D
Not that Masa isn't a good singer (which he totally is, though I don't know if he can change his singing voice like he can his normal voice...), but I really like him in non-musical roles - it shows his acting ability better, in a way.
Hahaha, I haven't even preordered them yet! XD Is there any way to add the photobook to your order? Cause it's gonna be good, I think, with 128 pages (half in color).
...I didn't even think of linking it at Masa's comm. ^^;; I did link it at the Samurai 7 comm though. I guess I'll go do that right away, gotta share the love some more, since as far as I know, there were only two foreigners (including myself) that went to the play, and I think I'm the only one who wrote a review.

I totally will ;D I'm going to marathon it on Thursday. I'm saving up to watch it with my sister so we can spazz together.
You know what is funny? TONNES of people say that Masa can't sing, but hearing him live is totally a different experience. His voice is really sweet and totally not how I picture Kyuuzou though :))
Are you going to see him and Kanesaki in that elephant play in December? I have no idea what it's about either. Is it a musical?
I asked them and they said I could make a new order and have them add it to the shipping at the end, but they said that it would still cost me the 2000yen fee for another order. If only everyone's life dramas were as petty as mine :))
:D! You know, I've started to think that we should all put statistic counters on posts like these, just to see how many people wander over and say nothing.
