soooo...lots of stuff
first would be hmm...
not really important but birthday last week
I don't mean to be conceited or anything it's just that it seems journal worthy...
then, china town tomorrow, field trip that is... how boring, but I get out of class
there are some things I think I would like to get there... in SF, not in China town specifically... of course I will be going where I please
probably get a mask, some nice pens, I don't know what else... any other curiosities I might see...I wonder if they have stapleless staplers...I want one of those
ahh... I must get pictures... heh camera
speaking of which, I did something interesting a few days ago...
I took an old webcam and removed the infrared filter...then I put in a visible light filter and put it back together
it's quite interesting to play with actually... white strips appear on money, some inks don't reflect infrared light apparently... supposedly infrared light can go through certain fabrics but I don't know how that is supposed to work...I do know that my black shirt turns white hahaha, I know, it's so fascinating is it not?
well science bowl regionals are coming up in February 10th...much anticipation hmm...
apparently, we can't have the honorable Michael Cheng on our team this year as it was in years past... quite an unfortunate occurrence... he's so prodigious is he not? however he spends quite too much time on we the people... how pointless... anyway, he's been a huge disappointment...and I had such great hopes for him... oh well
hm.. next item... ah, quest... the notorious senior project designed solely for the purpose of making up for the deficiencies in irvington's regular curriculum... of course there are many schools that don't have to do quest because their teachers are able to cover all the required standards set by the state of california... but for under performing schools like irvington, an entirely separate project is necessary...how inefficient... and I need to get a legitimate service... I don't think the one I have now will work, please let me know if anyone has something regarding assisting impoverished nations...
oh and...I am so obsessed...I swear I need to stop, but it's so hard, I mean
it's so difficult...lol... yes, difficult... but obsessions are difficult to overcome right? that's why it's an obsession... I'm sorry
anyway, ohlone class started today, quite interesting really
differential equations is quite a fun class...the teacher is amusing...more so than my previous teacher rob smedfjeld for linear algebra... plus
ahh... there's this cute girl in my class...she sits behind me to the left so I keep on casually turning around to look at nothing but I'm really just trying to steal a glance at her... hahaha... I'm so perverted, but then, I'm a guy so it's expected is it not? oh well, considering this is ohlone...either she's really smart and is a high school student in differential equations or she's actually a student at ohlone in which case she would not be smart... whatever
physics was...boring...didn't learn much, the teacher lectured on several irrelevant things, then he took out some items from a box... well he explained positive and negative charges using two pieces of tape...then he took out this rubber balloon and stuck it to the white board then he had this comb and he combed his hair and attempted to pick up pieces of thin plastic with it...and it didn't work...amusingly... but anyway, there are like 11 people in that class...and we are all guys...it's so depressing...and everyone else is white...there is one hispanic person I think and the professor is of course Indian, but...everyone else is white and male... possibly the worst class ever... oh... and it's 7-10 pm... dun dun dunnnnn.... DEATH
