There is more than one way to update LJ from work

Wow, it has been a while and there is so much to tell.We have been so busy
playing and what not. day before Easter, we went to the Fabric District
w/ the Baron and Baroness of the Angels. It was a blast and we totally
scored. got some great linen for less than $4/yrd and I got this great
silk for a Persian Coat that was only $1/yrd. best buy of the day.

Easter came and went. saw family. it was an interesting day to say the
least. The following weekend we went to "A Night at the Inn" a the
Crimson Spade and we enjoyed a lovely evening of Bardic Performance
and Elysheva (I'm sorry I can't spell) did a wonderful Belly Dance.
she is definitely at a level I would love to reach.
The following weekend we went to Pentathalon. We enjoyed ourselves
just hanging out with everyone, being crafty. I spent most of my time
weaving. we went to Dinner afterwards with some friends. After the
event on Sunday we went to see Sabaccplayer's Mom who had just come
home from a trip to England. she brought us all little goodies, it was
great.
Last weekend we had planned to go to Voyagers May Day, but last week
was a horrible week between bad news and stress at work, we decided to
take it easy over that weekend. We crashed a friend's house in Long
Beach and then went and helped a new Friend Pack up his Truck to move
him from Costa Mesa to Camarillo. Then I Spent the Afternoon sewing.
by the end of the weekend, I finally had Sabaccplayer's Doublet Done!
woohoo!!
This week has been so crazy. Monday we had practice. I danced,
Sabaccplayer did Rapier and then we went out to Coral's with
everyone afterwards. Tuesday I went to CSUN and brought my serger
and I assisted in finishing the Site Tokens for Anniversary this weekend.
we did not finish them all, so I took a pile home and finished those
last night. woot! Wednesday night we helped out a friend At Minnie's
Moonlight Madness. It takes place at Disneyland and it is basically
the Ultimate Trivia Hunt for employees and all the money goes to a
charity they pick out. The Theme was the 70s and it was fabulous,
let me tell you. Everyone at the Minnie's Gong Show looked awesome.
But we had a blast at our clue. we were Robin's Foxy Hoods and people
got to do Archery, look for jewels blindfolded and carry bags of gold
with two poles. And then they got to Meet King Richard. It was so much
fun and people were so excited.
Tonight I am going to go home and sew. I wanted to wear a particular
dress for this weekend and I can't find it! so I am going to go home
and make a Cotehardie. all my fabric is washed and ready. we shall see
what happens. (this was done this afternoon at work) 12:14 am: I
finished my dress enough to wear it tomorrow. I need it taken in
in a few places, but If I safety pin it closed, life will be good. I hope all is well and I hope to see peoples soon. only 2 more weeks until Potrero. WooHoo! Love, Me
