Pleasant Weekend
We had a very pleasant weekend. On Friday I had Jury Duty. Unfortunately I was put onto a Jury Selection. It took me all the way to the end of the day and I need to go back tomorrow. *sigh*
However, I got out of Jury Duty long before I would have gotten out of work, so we got up to SB for King's Hunt Far earlier than we would have had I been working. I'm fairly sure work is not at all happy about this, but there is nothing that my boss can do. Thankfully, I was semi prepared for this and everything was ready for her that was supposed to be.
Anyhoo, Kings Hunt was very Pleasant. I spent most of the day fixing the sleeve on one of my pieces of Garb. In the morning I met one of the local countess' and I spent most of the day chit-chatting with her which was oh so pleasant. And I picked up a new shirt and some lovely wool that I think I am going to make into a Viking Apron. wOOt!
We've spent most of today doing Laundry. We went to dinner at Chili's and then came home and watched "Bottle Shock" It was about the Wine tasting competition in 1976 that pitted California Wines against French Wines. It basically put Napa Valley on the Map. I highly recommend this movie. It has some great acting in it, and it is a great subject. and it's a great story.
Anyhoo, Kevin has school tomorrow: His Last Quarter!!! wOOt!!!! and I have jury duty in the morning. Have a pleasant Week all!!!
