Well I just got an e-mail from my Jazz Improvistation II teacher telling me that after missing 5 days of class there is an automatic drop of 30 points from your final grade. 10 points per day after the 2 day allowed absence ( Read more... )

I know there is a ton of pressure about not to fuck up...but isn't it rewarding also...If you do fail...at least you are somewhat ahead of the curve. You can do this.

Well, if you dropped and went back to full-time in August, your 6-month grace period should cover any repayments within that time.. right?

I say talk to someone in financial aid or loans, and find out what you could do if you drop. Trust me, if you don't drop it and you make a D or F, your GPA is totally fuked. I made a D spring of Freshman year and it dropped my GPA 2.5 points. So talk to someone about your options if you drop. Hurry though, Upstate's drop date is 3/29!
