And now to work again...
So, for Black Friday (the stupidest day of the shopping year) I was at work at 4:30am. I had woken up for Thanksgiving at 7:00am in hopes to be tired enough to sleep at 8:00pm but that just left me laying in bed not sleeping. Needless to say I had plenty of caffene yesterday as I stood still in line for hours ringing up people. fortunately I didn't have to deal with more than a few assholes. I get home that night and finally get to sleep at around 3:00am this morning. I got only eight hours of sleep, but atleast I got some.
The holiday season sucks to be in retail. Now I'm off again to sell stuff to people who don't love their loved ones enough to pay full price for anything, buy the expensive parts needed to make their car stereo-related gifts work in their loved one's car, or consider them with any feeling other than an agitated smirk over the fact that they are buying stuff for them.
"I need a radio for my daughter's car. What's the cheapest one you have?"
"This one here. What features do you think she'd want? She might like this better radio instead."
"Nah, the cheap one is fine. Can that price go any lower?"
"Uh... No. Well tell me what type of car she has and I'll get the parts needed for install."
"No, that's alright. She can get those herself. I don't want to spend too much money on her."
"Um... Then why the hell did you think a stereo is a good idea? You cheap bastard..."
