When asked how he'd prioritize energy, entitlements (Social Security), and health care and how Americans will need to sacrifice to right the ship, Obama ranked energy a higher priority than health care or social security tonight, and then told people they'd be expected to sacrifice by conserving energy.
I'm completely nonsarcastic when I say that he won my vote (unless he rapes a 4-year old girl in the meantime). McCain said that we could fix health care, social security, and energy all at once (while slashing taxes). His sacrifice answer was nonsensical. I've grown tired of his contempt for my intelligence.
I would appreciate it, however, if both candidates would make the effort to come up with new exaggerations and lies instead of rehashing the old ones. Seriously. If I have to hear about Obama voting to raise taxes 94 times (total bullshit) or that Obama will lower taxes for 95% of middle-class Americans (using sane math, it's 83%), I'm going to...make more gripey posts.
