Blog Bliss
I posted to my blog this morning (jweissdiary@blogspot.com), as I do every workday, and when I got finished I had this incredible feeling of satisfaction that I was making a huge contribution to the world. My blog is for human resources professionals at business companies, and most of them don't really get the whole trans thing, though most of them are compassionate or they wouldn't be reading the blog in the first place. This morning I blogged on the Colorado governor's veto of a bill that would have protected gender identity and sexual orientation. The Governor had said it wasn't necessary because Colo has a law saying employees can't be fired for lawful activities outside of work, and that the courts had used that to protect gay employees. But of course, that makes no sense in terms of trans identities, and also I did some legal research and found there is no such published case. tHE EvIL tRANsLawYeR sTRikES aGAiN!
