Reaction to Merlin, Beginning of the End
OK, so I know it’s only just ended, but here’s my review of Merlin, ‘Beginning of the End’.
Ooh, great music!
Oh noes! I know I shouldn’t want Mordred and his dad (?) to be ok, but I can’t help it.
OMG Colin Morgan is gorgeous!
Mordred’s voice is SCARY.
OMFG, Colin’s voice. <3 And they’ve let him be slightly stubbled this episode, too.
Oh, right, plot…
Bursting into Morgana’s rooms? You ARE getting braver. Or possibly stupider.
Arthur actively supporting magic now? Or at least arguing with Uther about druids. That’s awesome.
And YAY for his “mercy can be a sign of strength.” Much love.
Oh, there goes the fanon idea that Arthur doesn’t go to executions…

Ooh, Gaius sounds pissed off.
“I’m always careful, you know me.” Haha, this line FTW. And some of Colin’s accent came through there :)
Oh, Morgana, you remind me of Ollivander: “the wand chooses the wizard.” Um, I mean, “what if you don’t choose magic? What if magic chooses you?”
Uther/Morgana is so happening.

Haha, the boots! And the Morgana-Arthur banter in the background was brilliant :D

Haha, that scene with the key floating around his head was STUPID and hilarious. No wonder the guards can be tricked by the runaway dice, if Arthur’s their role model.
Is Morgana going for subtle? Because a bright red cloak is not the way to do that.

So this weekend will be an OD of Merlin love :) We’ve had the episode, Bradley and Angel on the lottery, and the boys on BBC2 tomorrow at 10am. WEEKEND OF WIN.
