Imagine your future self, ie, you 10 years from now. If he/she were to send you a tweet or text message, 1) what would it say and 2) how would that transform your life or change something you’re doing, thinking, believing or saying today?
I imagine that it would say (because I like to speak in song lyrics and I don't imagine that will change in the future), "Don't stop believing."
If I received that message right this second, I think I would feel a lot more hopeful about the future. It either means that faith has gotten me to where I would like to be in 10 years, or that it's kept me going despite not getting there. As for which one of those situations will be... Well, I create the future. I feel a little time warp-y thinking about it.
Nette away. I guess it's back to my regularly scheduled programming from here on out - or maybe something more interesting or creative now that I've spent 30 days pep-talking.
