[Running, running, where is her Dad? She can't find him anywhere! Mom's in trouble and her Dad's nowhere to be found. She sees some of her parents' friends but they're too busy dealing with the Fire Nation raid. Everywhere she turns to, chaos is in sight. But the odd thing is, she can't hear their voices, as if they went mute or she went deaf.

He didn't get to think of this long before he found himself looking at those same, tear-filled eyes. Unsure of what's going on and only interpreting the words from the older woman to mean Hurry up and help Katara, Tyr tries to make a move to stop that woman. ]
Katara!

Tyr, get out of here! I'm not in control of my--! [Hama cackles evilly before raising her hands, inevitably raising Katara's too. By now, Tyr is under Katara's control... against her wishes.]

[ And his face is planted in the ground rather violently, the ground scraping his face as he's dragged. Tyr speaks between gritted teeth: ] Resist her!
[ He felt a bit like a hypocrite saying that, though. ]

Katara's arms shake as she tries to resist, but Hama's persistent.] Resist me and his limbs will be ripped off after yours! [She shakes her head as she hoists Tyr up. And now, against her will, she's making Tyr pick up that knife not too far from him.]

[ Tyr says that as he's brought back to his feet, his face and body dirty. As he picks up the knife, though - and tries to toss it away, but his body won't listen - he fears that not getting hurt won't be a possibility. ]

[Inasmuch as she wants to resist, Katara doesn't want to find out if Hama's threat will come true or not. So, she let herself be commandeered by her. She stares wide-eyed at that knife, though, because it's slowly dragging up his chest.] Tyr!

Tyr still couldn't stand pain, especially not like this. He was enough of a man to remain strong through it, though; Katara seemed much more fragile than him now... ] It's... fine.

Still bleeding, Tyr doesn't mind the cut along his chest now as much as the fact he's holding that bloodied knife out to Katara. He addresses Hama now: ] Katara doesn't deserve this! Let her go!

[And even before she can respond fully, that knife pierces her chest. Katara turns around to find her good friend, knife in hand, stabbing her as blood starts to fall down her lips. Even so, she smiles at him because she knows this is her own fault for not being strong enough.] It's okay, Tyr...

[ He's heard this too many times. He's been in this place too much, looking in the eyes of his loved ones as their lives slip away. Hearing their last words meant just for his ears telling him to go on...
Maybe he should have expected it... Suddenly, Tyr feels rather numb. ]

But the odd thing is, she still has life yet the pain is real. At each successive pierce, Katara can feel the immense anguish, but she found she's alive. And her life isn't fading before her very eyes.] Tyr... [She's panting now, though.]

All Tyr can do is watch in horror as his own hand continuously cuts through her. He can't take his eyes off her pained face covered in her own blood even as he yells at Hama. ] Stop it! Let her go! Katara is...

Why? Are you jealous, young man? [If Tyr's paying attention to Katara's movements, he'll find that one of her arms rises and stabs him on the back. Wherever she also got a knife is a big mystery.]
